13 sierpnia warszawskie biure Demant miało zaszczyt gościć delegację przedstawicieli duńskiego biznesu. Wizyta była częścią trzydniowego wyjazdu studyjnego do Polski, którego celem było poznanie naszego kraju jako przykładu dynamicznego rozwoju, innowacyjności, odporności i transformacji.
Wśród gości znaleźli się przedstawiciele IAD - Federation of Industrial Employers in Denmark oraz DI - Confederation of Danish Industry, jednej z najważniejszych organizacji reprezentujących duński przemysł i przedsiębiorców.
Delegacji przewodniczyli m.in. Niels Jacobsen, CEO William Demant Invest i przewodniczący IAD, oraz Klaus Holse, Vice Chair of GN Group i wiceprzewodniczący IAD.
Polska jako przykład rozwoju i innowacyjności
Celem wyjazdu było lepsze poznanie krajów, które mogą być inspiracją dla duńskiego biznesu w takich obszarach jak innowacje, produkcja, edukacja, odporność gospodarcza i społeczna czy zielona transformacja.
Trzydniowy program obejmował spotkania z firmami i organizacjami w Warszawie, Łodzi i Krakowie. Wizyta w Demant Technology Centre była okazją, do zaprezentowania roli i znaczenia działalności Demant w Polsce oraz przedstawienia zakresu kompetencji rozwijanych przez nasze zespoły.
Podczas spotkania goście poznali trzy główne obszary działalności Demant: Hearing Care, Hearing Aids oraz Diagnostics. Zaprezentowano również działalność Audiki i VisionRT, pokazując, jak poszczególne firmy wspólnie realizują misję Demant, rozwijając rozwiązania wspierające zdrowie słuchu oraz nowoczesną opiekę medyczną.
Piotr Połatyński, Site Director Demant Technology Centre, opowiedział o historii oraz działalności Demant w Warszawie oraz znaczenie polskich zespołów w realizacji globalnych projektów Grupy.
Andrzej Konopka, Prezes Zarządu w Audika Polska, Oticon Polska & Diatec Polska, opowiedział o działalności Audika, skali sieci placówek specjalistycznych oraz o korzyściach płynących z szerokiego i kompleksowego podejścia do pacjentów.
Ze strony VisionRT zdalnie dołączył Piotr Cendrowski, Senior Vice President, który przedstawił działalność firmy i perspektywy rozwoju rynku nowoczesnych technologii medycznych. Ważnym elementem spotkania było także zaprezentowanie działalności Demant w Polsce przez pryzmat ludzi, kompetencji i współpracy pomiędzy różnymi obszarami biznesowymi. Goście mogli zobaczyć, w jaki sposób lokalne zespoły wspierają realizację globalnych celów organizacji i przyczyniają się do rozwoju innowacyjnych rozwiązań dla pacjentów na całym świecie.
Wizyta była okazją do wymiany doświadczeń oraz zaprezentowania działalności Grupy Demant w Polsce. Pozwoliła również pokazać, jak globalna misja Demant jest realizowana lokalnie dzięki wiedzy, zaangażowaniu i współpracy naszych zespołów.
On 13 August, the Demant office in Warsaw had the honour of welcoming a delegation of Danish business representatives. The visit was part of a three-day study trip to Poland, aimed at exploring our country as an example of dynamic growth, innovation, resilience and transformation.
Among the guests were representatives of IAD - Federation of Industrial Employers in Denmark and DI - Confederation of Danish Industry, one of the key organisations representing Danish industry and businesses.
The delegation was led, among others, by Niels Jacobsen, CEO of William Demant Invest and Chairman of IAD, and Klaus Holse, Vice Chair of GN Group and Vice Chairman of IAD.
Poland as an example of growth and innovation
The purpose of the study trip was to gain a deeper understanding of countries that can serve as an inspiration for Danish businesses in areas such as innovation, manufacturing, education, economic and social resilience and the green transition.
The three-day programme included meetings with companies and organisations in Warsaw, Łódź and Kraków. The visit to the in Warsaw provided an opportunity to present the role and significance of Demant’s operations in Poland, as well as the areas of expertise developed by our teams.
During the meeting, the guests were introduced to Demant’s three main business areas: Hearing Care, Hearing Aids and Diagnostics. The activities of Audika and VisionRT were also presented, demonstrating how the different companies work together to fulfil Demant’s mission by developing solutions that support hearing health and modern healthcare.
Piotr Połatyński, Site Director at the Demant Technology Centre in Warsaw, spoke about the history and operations of Demant in Warsaw, as well as the importance of our Polish teams in delivering the Group’s global projects.
Andrzej Konopka, President of the Management Board of Audika Polska, Oticon Polska & Diatec Polska, presented Audika’s operations, the scale of its network of specialist clinics, and the benefits of taking a broad and comprehensive approach to patient care.
Piotr Cendrowski, Senior Vice President at VisionRT, joined the meeting remotely and presented the company’s activities and the development prospects for the modern medical technology market.
An important part of the meeting was also presenting Demant’s operations in Poland through the people, expertise and collaboration that connect different areas of the business. The guests had the opportunity to see how local teams contribute to achieving the organisation’s global goals and support the development of innovative solutions for patients around the world.
The visit provided an opportunity to exchange experiences and showcase the activities of the Demant Group in Poland. It also highlighted how Demant’s global mission is brought to life locally through the knowledge, commitment and collaboration of our teams.
